Despite a few issues and a small room, my stay at the hotel was enjoyable. The location overlooking Downs was a pleasant surprise, and the food was great. However, the dining experience wasn't up to par, and some negative issues with the owners were noted.
The hotel is located in a lovely spot, close to the sea and Brighton, but the area around the side could be more appealing. The rooms are clean, warm, and fully equipped, perfect after a match day. The service was attentive and accommodating, ensuring a comfortable stay, although the passing staff could be a bit distracting at times.
My stay at the hotel was quite mixed. The rooms felt tiny, worn, cold, and damp, almost like a prison cell, but they were equipped with fans which was a relief. Despite the slightly unpleasant smell of dampness, the room was clean and had good amenities. The service was really welcoming and the staff were helpful and friendly, creating a good impression. The location was great with a lovely view of the sea and fields, making it excellent for various activities. However, the dining experience was just ok, and the breakfast options were not up to par. The facilities were adequate though not outstanding.
